Flow with Florals is a seven day watercolour residency being conducted during the spring month of March in Bir, Himachal. The course is held by Sayo herself.

 

It is tailored for both beginners and intermediate artists. There is a limited number of 12-15 participants per batch for any of the course that Sayo conducts to make sure that she is able to give personal attention to each one of them. The course focuses on understanding watercolour techniques and using them to make botanical paintings. One will get to learn all the tips and tricks to capture the essence of the native flora and effortlessly put them onto their paper with watercolours. All the supplies - from pencils to paints, are provided as a part of the workshop.

 

The schedule of the course looks simple - we start with an early morning walk paired with introduction to basic botany, eat breakfast, paint till the sun goes down with a lunch break in between, and then explore the town in the late evenings. 

 

During the course of the retreat one also gets to connect with fellow art enthusiasts and build a community of like minded people.

‪• Twin sharing ‬stay from the afternoon of March 23 till the morning of March 31, 2024.

There are two options available for stay - one at the Jungalow and the other at Raahi homestays.
